The columns

Item: What it is — brand and model where they matter.
Category: Electronics, furniture, jewelry, tools, and so on.
Location: The room or space where the item lives.
Purchase Date: When you bought it, for warranties and claims.
Estimated Value: Roughly what it would cost to replace.
Serial Number: For electronics, appliances, tools, and bikes.
Notes: Condition, receipts, a box number for a move — anything.
